Mayan Wind Fest 2025 will be the second of four qualifier regattas of the Optimist 2025 National Circuit, which will determine the make-up of the teams for the Optimist 2025 North American Championship, South American Championship and World Championships.

There will be regattas for both beginners and advanced sailors. This will young sailors of all levels to participate and enjoy the competition.

​

It is an excellent opportunity for beginners to learn and be inspired alongside the more experienced.

​

Sailing in Cancún is awesome. In January, the wind usually blows around 12-25 knots, and the water is warm. The water is pretty flat on the course racing area, with some wind shifts and gusts making racing super interesting. 

We expect to receive Mexican and international sailors at the event.

Registration fee will includinclude es food and boat transportation (for those who register before December 13, 2024)*.

To participate, make sure you have an active FMV and AMVCO membership.
