Mayan Wind Fest will be a Qualifying Regatta for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games, giving young sailors a unique opportunity to compete for a place in the 2025 Pan American Games, Asunción.

Three places will be allocated for each of the categories ILCA 7 - men and ILCA 6 - women.

​

This event will have regattas for ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and ILCA 7, where men and women will participate in single-handed dinghy modalities.

​Sailing in Cancún is awesome. In January, the wind usually blows around 12-25 knots, and the water is warm. The water is pretty flat on the course racing area, with some wind shifts and gusts making racing super interesting.
